1

Plug in your gamepad

Connect any controller by USB or Bluetooth. PadVolt detects it instantly.

2

It becomes keys & mouse

Buttons, D-pad and sticks map to keyboard keys and mouse actions.

3

Play any game

Open your game and play with the pad. Toggle on/off any time with F8.

The app

See your controller, live

Who it's for

For every game that ignores your controller

Tons of games only accept keyboard and mouse. If your gamepad does nothing when you plug it in — this is the fix.

🕹️

Old & indie games

Classics and small titles built before controller support was standard.

⚔️

Strategy, MOBA & MMO

RTS, Dota-likes and older MMOs designed for mouse + keyboard.

💤

Idle & clicker games

Lean back on the couch and farm without hunching over the keyboard.

🌐

Browser games

Web games that only read the keyboard — now playable with a pad.

👾

Retro & emulators

Map your controller to keyboard-driven emulators and DOS classics.

Comfort & accessibility

A controller can be easier and more comfortable than a keyboard — for anyone.

Questions

Good to know

Do I need to install drivers?

No. PadVolt reads your controller directly and sends keyboard/mouse input. Standard Windows installer — clean uninstall through Programs & Features. Only .NET Framework (already on Windows 10/11) is required.

Does it work with a PlayStation controller?

Yes — DualShock 4 (PS4) and DualSense (PS5) both work out of the box over USB (Bluetooth too). Xbox and generic pads are supported as well.

Which games does it work with?

Any game or app that accepts keyboard and mouse — especially ones without native controller support: old and indie games, strategy/MMO, idle/clicker games, browser games and emulators.

Is it safe?

Yes. It's a tiny tool that only translates controller input into key presses — no drivers, no background services, nothing hidden. SDL2 is bundled in the installer — no extra files to keep.

Can I change the button layout?

Yes — remap any button to any key or mouse action and save a profile for each game.
